World Elder Abuse Awareness Day 2008

Coffee Morning Saturday 14th June 10.30 to 12.30 pm

Christian Action Housing Association’s sheltered scheme at Matthew Court will be running a Coffee Morning on Saturday 14th June from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm in support of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day 2008. There will be an advice stall, a refreshment stall providing light breakfasts, scrambled eggs on toast amongst other things. A quiz run by one of their residents who is 95 (she writes and runs all their quizzes) will be run from 10.30 to 11.00 – if you want to take part in the quiz you will have to pay a small donation but there will be small prizes to be won. Please come along and support this very worthy cause - all money raised will go to Action on Elder Abuse.
